​​Accompany ME is a circus company founded in 2022 by Monika Neverauskaite and Elena Damasio. It is a project with an international reach: the artists are originally from Italy and Lithuania, both trained in the Netherlands. They live and work in Toulouse, France.

 

Accompany ME is an invitation to join Monika and Elena on their journey. This name underscores the importance of a loved one by our side. Through their work, the two artists seek to offer their audience a moment of lightness as a counterpoint to the more serious themes they explore—all expressed through the unique language of circus.

 

The company upholds values ​​of equality and gender representation. They champion circus arts where the circus itself remains central, always with joy and sensitivity.

 

The company created their first show “À Mesure - Handle with care” in June 2024. They are now creating two new pieces: “The Onion Technique” which will premiere in November 2026 and “Beat the Circle” due to mars 2027.

ABOUT THE SHOW​

​

"À Mesure - Handle with Care" evokes the strengths and vulnerabilities of a relationship between two people. Through the language of the Cyr wheel, two women invite us into their intimate space, sharing glimpses of their daily lives, where they equip themselves with patience and play with the passage of time. There is a wheel, a kitchen, and eggs. And then there is them: sensitive, real, and committed. At the risk of love, the artists bring a comforting story to the stage, in search of a rhythm that brings them closer to one another.

​​TECHNICAL INFO

 

- Stage size: 8 x 8 x 3,5 m (w,d,h) The floor area should be hard, flat, even and covered in black dance floor. Suitable for a Cyr wheel.

- Sound system suitable for the space and the size of the audience with a plug-in for a computer.

- Lights and colors will be used from the theater according to the light plan. -

- Necessity of a plug of 220V on the stage side.
